In a touching episode of Prosthesis Talk<\/strong>, I had the pleasure of meeting Waltraud Marx<\/strong>, a prosthesis user. Waltraud suffered greatly from the agonizing phantom pain<\/strong> that can occur after an amputation. This pain is difficult to explain and can have a significant impact on life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then the sensory feedback system<\/strong> from Saphenus Medical Technology<\/strong> came into play. This innovative system, called Suralis<\/strong>, enables prosthesis wearers to gain a new level of sensation and control over their prosthesis1<\/sup><\/a>2<\/sup><\/a>.
